BOLTON WANT CLUB RETURN FOR WANTAWAY SWANSEA STAR

English side Bolton Wanderers have been linked with marking a return for their former player Declan John this summer. The player is currently a Swansea City player but has been tipped to leave the Swans this summer, giving Bolton the green light to make a formal offer for him. His current contract with the Welsh club is set to run out at the end of this current month and he is reportedly not going to sign a contract extension with the club, leaving him open to accepting any formal offer made to him by Bolton.

The 25-year-old played for Boldon Wanderers last season as he spent the second part of the campaign on loan at the club. During his time at Bolton, he was able to play in 21 games for the club while scoring two goals during that period. He was a key member of the Bolton squad and played a role in helping the Trotters finish 3rd on the log, meaning they earned themselves a well-deserved promotion into League One.

Since returning to Swansea after his loan spell, he has been linked with a move back to Bolton and the transfer could finally happen as he is reportedly set to be released by Swansea in a few weeks, making him a free agent. The player has also added fire to the rumors linking him with a return to Blackburn with his recent activity on social media.

He liked a post on Instagram which was a photo of him wearing the Bolton jersey with a captionthat says he will be returning to the club this summer. Blackburn have been busy in recent weeks after recently announcing that they have completed the permanent signing of a couple of players, including George Johnston, Josh Sheehan, and Dapo Afolayan, who impressed the club's bosses after joining from West Ham United last summer.
