Portsmouth striker David Nugent is attracting the attention of Bolton Wanderers, according to the Portsmouth News.
The 25-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements at the start of the season and scored six goals during a season-long loan deal at Burnley.
The former Preston North End striker now looks likely to leave Fratton Park on a permanent deal with Bolton boss Owen Coyle, who he played under at Burnley, reportedly interested in signing him.
Bolton currently have strikers Kevin Davies and Johan Elmander on the books at the Reebok Stadium and are bound to strengthen in attack over the summer, with Coyle also being linked with Burnley forward Steven Fletcher.
Portsmouth administrator Andrew Andronikou has confirmed that Nugent - along with Kevin-Prince Boateng, Nadir Belhadj and John Utaka - can leave the club, but he is keen to keep hold of defender Marc Wilson.
He said: "We are looking to raise £15m at the minimum, so there will be players leaving.
