Keith Hill aiming promotion with Bolton next season

“It is brilliant because I can see a strategy. There is a foundation being put in place for the club, for the football, for the future
. There’s a real ambition here from the footballing perspective – that’s from me, the staff, the owners, to bounce. Next season the ambition, whether it’s League One or League Two, is to get promoted.”

Bolton recently won three league games on the bounce before suffering a 7-1 embarrassment at the hands of Accrington Stanley. Hill has indeed stated that the game was probably a one-off and he will be hoping for a better performance when the Trotters entertain AFC Wimbledon at the Macron Stadium this weekend. Despite the recent progress, Bolton have netted just nine goals from 15 games this term. Daryl Murphy has been the standout forward with four goals.
