New Ipswich Town signing Dom Ball has been ruled out of the League One season opener. The former Queens Park Rangers (QPR) star will miss the League One opener with Bolton Wanderers as a result of injury. Ball was ruled out of thegame with Bolton Wanderersby his manager. In his pre-match press conference for the Bolton Wanderers game, Ipswich Town boss McKenna said Ball won't feature for the Tractor Boys this weekend due to injury and that he needs time to recover from injury.

McKenna said he has a fully fit squad for the Bolton game apart from the injured Ball. He's optimistic that the new signing will join the rest of his teammates on the grass next week.

Ball didn't featurein the last two pre-season friendly games due to knockand it willrule the new signing out of the Bolton Wanderers clash. Fellow new signing Leif Davis will be in the Ipswich Town squad for the Bolton game. Davis is a new signing at Ipswich Town this summer following his arrival from Leeds United in the English top flight.
